Sash Windows

At Bygone Installations Essex we have been fortunate enough to be granted Bygone preferred status. Installed by our experienced and professional team, their collection of uPVC and wooden sash windows represents a classic, authentic and sophisticated window area that will be the envy of your neighbours.

Energy Efficient Sash Windows

The Bygone Collection has been designed with energy efficiency in mind. These windows will reduce heat loss in your property by up to 74% when compared to single glazed timber sashes. These sash windows have been awarded the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) C rating as standard due to their energy saving capabilities, which highlights their ability to conserve heat, and keep elements such as wind and rain at bay. This collection can also able to be upgraded to A and B ratings where necessary.

Naturally, the higher the rating, the more energy saved. The Energy Savings Trust recommends C rated sash windows due to the energy savings and the reduction in the use of natural resources they bring. It is believed that the average homeowner could save £135 a year on their heating bill through the installation of efficient double glazing and windows. Always look for the Energy Saving Recommended logo on sash window installations.

The Bygone Collection of sash windows has also achieved the prestigious Secured by Design award. This program is endorsed by the Association of Chief Police Officers for England Wales and Northern Ireland (ACPO), to ensure windows installed are independently tested and high security.

Wooden and uPVC Sash Windows

UPVC sash windows are weather resistant yet low maintenance, energy saving and secure, as well as attractive and long-lasting. These combine the longevity of uPVC with an authentic white painted timber effect that creates the breathtaking look of a real wood sash window.

We can even install Bygone’s wooden range of sash windows, crafted from Engineered Softwood or Hardwood in a choice of two stunning finishes: painted or stained finish. The combination of beautiful aesthetics and energy efficiency has never looked so good.

All of the collection’s timber is sourced from 100% Forestry Stewardship Commission ‘Chain of Custody’ woodland. In this way the team at Masterframe are contributing to sustainability, an area that many people are becoming increasingly concerned about.

From replacing your existing sashes to providing a luxurious new window, this collection will remain durable and functional in even the harshest of weather conditions, ensuring a long-lasting solution for your property. In fact, the collection has been certified by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) as a ‘whole of life’ product, which no other sash window collection has been.
